Facilities
Welshpool Livestock Sales are very proud of their modern purpose built covered yard for 15,000 sheep and 1,200 cattle. We have excellent cattle handling and sheep handling facilities ensuring excellence in animal and handler welfare. The market has 25 unloading bays meaning little queuing for loading and unloading with flexible penning and drawing of livestock facilities. There are fully computerised billing and account management facilities for improved customer service information. The market has full electronic identification facilities.
We guarantee sale receipts to all our vendor clients.
We have dedicated helpful staff on site to assist all our customers with their enquiries, a team of experienced livestock drovers and handlers and an experienced team of 7 dedicated livestock auctioneers.
We have excellent catering facilities with a restaurant capable of holding in excess of 200 diners with food available on each market day.
